Coastal Beachfront Welcoming Scenic Tropical Laidback Quiet

Located on a barrier island in the Gulf of Mexico, just west of Saint Petersburg, Treasure Island boasts nearly four miles of white sandy beaches and pristine waters. The tropical atmosphere that pervades Treasure Island defines the area, with palm tree-populated streets, colorful wall murals depicting beach life, and delectable seafood restaurants just steps from the water.

Treasure Island consists of three neighborhoods roughly bound by John’s Pass on the north side, Blind Pass on the south side, and the downtown area in the middle of the island. Downtown Treasure Island is a largely commercial district, containing a variety of local shops, restaurants, and convenience stores which sit across from hotel-lined beaches. The Treasure Island Beach Trail is also in the middle of the island, offering plenty of opportunities for walking, skateboarding, rollerblading, and bicycling.

The south end of Treasure Island is primarily residential, filled with brightly-painted cottages and houses along Gulf Boulevard. Treasure Island’s north end is residential as well, neighboring Madeira Beach’s lively John’s Pass Village. Wherever you find yourself on Treasure Island, be sure to catch the gorgeous sunsets over the water.
