I love Hurricane because it is a small town, everyone is super friendly. The community itself is great, people are friendly , and it is very well kept.

Small, friendly, family-oriented community between two cities in southwestern WV. Great quality schools and outdoor activities for all ages. Not too far from larger cities if looking for additional activities.

Nice neighborhoods, safer than surrounding areas. Up and coming. Family friendly. Close to Huntington and Charleston. Close to interstate and easy access to other places.

Hurricane is a safe, residential area to raise kids. Putnam County is recognized and awarded for Blue Ribbon schools. My family loves it here. It is not a bad commute to work or school either.
