This community is very tightly knit. The people watch out for each other and support each other in times of need. They are very active in supporting the school and the neighborhood around them.

Southport has many great people that do their best to uplift the community. However, there are does not seem to be many local businesses thriving. I think the city could do more to encourage the people to be more self sufficient. One way could be helping the people acquire the space needed to do their part.

The Neighborhoods celebrate holidays or do a clean up day in Earth day or something. A lot of diverse communities, what I mean is there are people from different country especially from, Asia and there are nice people in the neighborhoods. Where I live in the neighborhood is safe because, it is crime watch so, I know that I am safe because, Police goes around the neighborhood to see if there is crime or if neighborhoods is safe or not. A lot of Asian Grocery and I can buy Asian foods because, I am Asian and I miss foods from Asia and I can buy them.
