South Linden is an up-and-coming neighborhood just five miles north of Downtown Columbus. The area is gaining attention for its excellent location. South Liden is convenient to Ohio State University and John Glenn Columbus International Airport. South Linden has a low cost of living, so there are a variety of affordable rentals available including single-family houses and mid-rise apartments. Along with several schools, the neighborhood has multiple parks. Windsor Park features the Douglas Community Center and a swimming pool for residents, while Maloney Park supplies a walking trail, basketball court, lighted tennis courts, and athletic fields. Just outside the neighborhood lies Mapfre Stadium, which hosts sporting events and music festivals.

If you want shopping centers and restaurants near your new home, South Linden has plenty to offer. Along Cleveland Avenue you'll find a variety of shops and restaurants serving up international cuisines. Locals swear by the oxtails and jerk chicken available at Ena’s Caribbean while Banadir Cuisines has some of the best roti and gyros.

Very affordable place to buy a home. Middle of town so your close to everything. Sometimes things seem a little sketchy. If you take the time to actually talk or be friendly to your neighbors you find most are decent
