South Central is an up-and-coming neighborhood located directly south of Downtown Wichita. As one of the oldest neighborhoods in the city, South Central features quaint single-family houses and cozy, modern apartments. Rentals in this area are known for their affordability, but there are some more luxurious options available as well. Nestled along the Arkansas River, residents have easy access to several parks and outdoor recreation. Outdoor enthusiasts bicycle, jog, and walk their dogs on trails running along the Arkansas River.
