Located about eight miles northeast of Downtown Indianapolis in the Broad Ripple area, Ravenswood is a charming suburb with plenty to offer. It is bordered on the north and west side by a bend in the White River, and its shady, tree-lined streets are lined with cozy cottages and bungalows. At the center of the neighborhood, Riverwood Park provides picnic areas, a playground, and a seasonal spray ground. Ravenswood Beach provides the ideal spot for boating and fishing. While primarily residential, there are several shopping plazas and restaurants located along Keystone Avenue.
