Incorporated in 1873, Plymouth is a classic Midwestern small town nestled along the banks of the Yellow River. Many of the town’s original buildings are well preserved in Downtown Plymouth, housing rows of friendly local shops and restaurants. Plymouth’s past is also on display at the Marshall County Historical Museum, which features a range of artifacts from Plymouth and other surrounding towns in Marshall County.
Plymouth, the seat of Marshall County, hosts the famous Marshall County Blueberry Festival every year. Plymouth residents come together to engage in outdoor recreation at the many parks scattered throughout town as well as on the Yellow River. Getting around from Plymouth is a breeze with access to U.S. 30 and U.S. 31.
