I am a SUNY Albany student and I am appalled by how terrible Pine Hills is in general. All of the buildings are falling apart, there is always trash everywhere, drivers are angry, blast music, and don't know how to park, and there seems to always be burglaries in the area. I also don't feel very safe walking around, there are quite a few people on drugs or who approach you begging for money. The only thing that is good is public transportation. I can't imagine raising a family in Pine Hills, let alone in Albany in general.
