I live in Ellenton. I would say job opportunities are great here. However housing is sky rocketing so getting around can be pretty tough.

There is nothing to do, boring, lots of old people. New Starbucks though. There is some traffic, not bad. A good amount of fast food, not much else. A few schools around. A few job opportunities. Mostly have to drive to bigger cities for better jobs, food, people, etc. St. Pete is 30 minutes away, Tampa is an hour. Always hot and gross.

Ellenton's population and city is growing so there is constant traffic and people but there is a lot of interesting activities and places to visit throughout the city.

Ellenton/Parrish is a small area with great potential. Ellenton has the outlet mall which brings lots of year-round tourists as well as lots of store-options. Parrish is very rural however is beginning to urbanize. I wish to see Ellenton add more "things to do" for its in-town residents. I hope to see that Parrish never loses its rural, cow's mooing touch that makes it so special.
