Pajarito Albuquerque, NM
Located in the lush South Valley area of Albuquerque, Pajarito is steeped in history. When you're in the mood for a fun evening, head about 10 minutes south to Isleta Resort and Casino, which offers fine dining, live music, golf tournaments and more. For a more rustic experience, go just east over the Rio Grande River to the Valle de Oro National Wildlife Refuge, which offers hiking, birdwatching, and educational events, or take a workshop at the historic Gutierrez-Hubbell House, which offers regular classes on topics ranging from local history to gardening techniques.
