Weber State University is a public institution set at the foothills of the Wasatch Mountains. Founded in 1889, Weber State prides itself on providing access to higher education and excellent teaching in addition to its active role in the community. A broad range of academic offerings are available at WSU, with more than 225 certificate and degree programs as well as 13 graduate degrees. Wildcats sports teams participate in NCAA Division I Big Sky Conference, drawing support from Weber State and the community at large.
