Kent State University at Stark was established in 1946 and is Kent State University's largest regional campus and the only university in Stark County. KSU Stark focuses on environmental and social responsibility. The campus offers bachelor degree programs in 20 areas, including biology, sociology, fine arts, marketing, business, and computer design, animation, and game design. Master's degree programs are offered in four programs.
Located on 200 acres in Canton, Ohio, apartments near KSU Stark also provide easy access to the city's attractions, which includes the Pro Football Hall of Fame and the Canton Museum of Art. KSU Stark is located about six miles northwest of Downtown Canton, just off I-77. The university is adjacent to the Belden Village Mall and Belden Park Crossings, two popular shopping and dining destinations. On the north side of campus is another large shopping area, complete with a variety of restaurants and bars.
