The State University of New York at Plattsburgh is a small liberal arts college located at the extreme northeastern corner of the state, on the shore of Lake Champlain. The small institution more than lives up to SUNY’s reputation for academic excellence, earning recognition as one of the top regional universities in the North as well as boasting a nationally-ranked business program.
The college is mostly surrounded by residential neighborhoods, with numerous houses, apartments, and condos just a short walk away. Living near the SUNY Plattsburgh campus puts you just a few blocks away from the city center, allowing you to easily stroll into town anytime you want to take advantage of the extensive Downtown shopping, dining, and nightlife.
