Established in 1891, the University of North Carolina Greensboro is the largest and most diverse university in the Piedmont Triad of North Carolina. Home to a challenging, supportive, and engaged community, UNC Greensboro aims to be a responsive, involved university focused on contributing solutions to the problems of our times. UNCG offers a range of programs granting undergraduate, masters, and doctoral degrees. Rooted in the liberal arts, UNCG also embraces sports, with the Spartans sports teams participating in the NCAA Division I Southern Conference.
