Hinds Community College, founded in 1917, is the largest community college in Mississippi. A comprehensive educational institution, Hinds CC offers academic programs guaranteed to transfer to a university or to achieve job-readiness in just one to two years through career and technical options. Hinds’ main campus is located in Raymond, about 15 miles southwest of Jackson. Several apartments and houses are available for rent in the surrounding Raymond area; however, options are more plentiful if you expand your search to include neighboring Clinton and Western Hills.
