Tracing its roots back to 1933, Colorado State University-Pueblo has served the region as part of the CSU system since 2003. Best known for its programs in business and engineering, CSU-Pueblo has earned distinction as one of the nation’s outstanding Hispanic-Serving Institutions by the Hispanic Association of Colleges and Universities. Perched on the edge of the southern Colorado plains, the CSU Pueblo campus sits in the suburban northeast side of the city. The surrounding landscape is largely filled by residential neighborhoods, with many nearby apartments, houses, and condos within a short walk of the university. The city center is only a few minutes away by car, giving you easy access to a huge selection of unique restaurants, bars, and coffeehouses.
