Located in Northwest Columbus a few minutes north of Ohio State University and the Ohio State University Golf Club and directly south of the Ohio State University Airport, Northcrest is a vibrant, busy neighborhood between the Scioto River and the Olentangy River. Northcrest is bordered to the north by Bethel Road and to the south by Henderson Road. A large park sits in the center of the neighborhood, providing walking trails, a playground, tennis courts, and a basketball court. Henderson Road is a large shopping and dining district, lined with a variety of businesses, stores like TJ Maxx, the Fresh Market, and Kroger, and restaurants like Poong Mei Asian Bistro and BiBiBop Asian Grill. Because Northcrest is just four miles north of OSU, it is popular with students looking for off-campus housing, faculty, and college football fans who want to be close enough to the Ohio Stadium to cheer on the Buckeyes. This neighborhood is also great for nature lovers -- it is just a few blocks west of the Anheuser Busch Sports Park and Olentangy Park, both located along the Olentangy River, and Griggs Nature Preserve, located along the Scioto River.
