I really like the people here and I think that we have some of the best people around, being so close to Chicago. However, I would like to see some local spots to hang out for college students, other than the actual colleges themselves.

Nice safe predominately white neighborhood. Everyone has a pet. Joggers around. Diverse restaurants and food. Not too expensive. Quiet. Different colleges and schools.

It is safe to walk in, 4 blocks from the Chicago Transit Brown Line, also the Kimball bus runs regularly North and South. You can walk through the North Park University Campus, it is beautiful, it's like you are far away in nature but you are not. It is also a huge diverse area, especially with the college students attending North Park University.
