As its name implies, North End encompasses the northern corner of Fall River. The neighborhood is located between the Taunton River and the Freetown-Fall River State Forest, giving residents easy access to outdoor recreation opportunities. Go golfing at the Fall River Country Club along the riverbanks or hike the Freetown Ledge. The rest of North End consists of warehouses, restaurants, stores, and residential areas. North End has apartments and condos available for rent. North End feels secluded, but it is only five miles from Downtown Fall River. Highway 79 runs through the neighborhood as well, allowing for easy travel into other areas like Providence and New Bedford, which are about 20 miles away.
