The North Elfers neighborhood sits roughly 45 minutes northwest of Tampa and 40 minutes north of Clearwater. Rental opportunities include single-family homes and condos. Easy access to Highway 19 enables residents to make the 15-minute trip north to Gulf View Square Mall to enjoy a range of department stores, boutiques, and eateries.
Closer to home, the smaller strips around FL-54 and Grand Boulevard feature local stores, fast-food chains, and independent restaurants. A particular favorite, Grand Deli & Subs on Grand Boulevard, prepares fresh salads and sandwiches for pickup or delivery and also sells some grocery essentials. The Fish Guy, a friendly family-run restaurant farther south where locals recommend the fried grouper sandwich, also sells frozen seafood.
Outdoor enthusiasts find plenty to do in the area. Eagle Point Park, a short trip west along Trouble Creek Road, provides fishing, kayaking, and picnic shelters as well as a fitness trail with exercise stations. Nearby, Pasco Palms Preserve's nature trail runs through forested wetlands and mangrove swamps.
