Munford sits about 22 miles northeast of Downtown Memphis, with Highway 51 providing direct access to the city. Cozy and suburban, Munford provides a variety of single-family homes in quiet neighborhoods. Munford is filled with parks and greenspace, and more is located just outside of the city borders. Glen Springs Lake is great for fishing and boating, while Munford City Park provides a playground, skate park, and an open area used for hosting community events like concerts and classic car shows. The neighboring town of Atoka provides Pioneer Park, Nancy Lake Park, and the Walker Park Splash Pad.
