Lamond Riggs is a linear neighborhood that follows the DC/Maryland border from just south of Carroll Street to Riggs Road. Located on the northeast side, Lamond Riggs is about four miles from Downtown DC. This popular, diverse neighborhood provides fast access to the Takoma Station, making it popular with commuters. Filled with brick houses along shady streets, Lamond Riggs is a stylish neighborhood with plenty of charm.
The Lamond Recreation Center provides a walking path and a ball field for residents, while the Riggs Road Playground offers a splash park.
