This award-winning town has great schools, a thriving economy, and a bustling downtown with shops, restaurants, and special events. The schools are known for performing well while the high school has been nationally recognized. The economy is primarily made of small businesses and headquarter offices for manufacturing establishments. Many of the neighborhoods are filled with high-end homes and well-preserved houses that reflect 19th and 20th century architectural styles.
A boring moment is rare in La Grange. There are several beautiful parks in and around town for residents to enjoy. The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.
