If i could do it all over again, i'd probably live somewhere else just for the fun of it but it's a good place to live overall.

This area is one of the top prescription drug abused counties in the US. Although the crime rate is relatively high, and it's easy to find yourself in the wrong group, growing up in this area has taught me a lot about what to do and what not to do in life. I feel that coming from an area with a low income and high crime rate serves as a rewarding experience if you can make it to adulthood without changing who you are. I would grow up here again in a heart beat. The people I've met and stories I've heard have taught me so much about how life can break you down but how motivation and dedication can put you back on your feet and allow you to persevere through the hardships to come out on top. In the future I can see this area either getting extremely better or staying the same. I don't think it can get much worse with how local law enforcement is cracking down on certain policies and criminals.

The area is getting worse as it is getting over-run by drugs and criminal activity. Houses are getting foreclosed, and values are going way down.
