Jamul sits in the far reaches of Southern California exactly 19 miles east of San Diego and about 26 miles north of Tijuana. This is a relatively secluded locale that’s surrounded by incredible mountain vista and an overall outdoorsy feel. Residents enjoy peace and quiet that you can’t find in the nearby communities of La Mesa and San Diego. To the east sits Cuyamaca Rancho State Park and a number of sprawling forest preserves and state parks. You can be in the city in just minutes, or in the midst of scenic SoCal nature in minutes. State Route 94 makes it easy to commute around the area, as does Interstate 805.
