Jackson's location is ideal, roughly halfway between Trenton and the Jersey Shore, with less than 30 minutes to both. New York City is about an hour away, accessible via I-95 or the Garden State Parkway. Bus service is also available. In addition to the theme parks, Jackson is home to the Metedeconk National Golf Club, the Pine Barrens Golf Club, Eagle Ridge Golf Club, and the Colliers Mills Wildlife Management Area.
