To keep it short and sweet I don't feel safe at all in this area. The only time I ever feel safe is when I see a police officer which is rare.

The area is generally nice. People will not bother you as long as you don't bother them, and are genuinely friendly. It is quiet, which is nice on spring days when you need to study. Corner stores sell hot and cold food, and a plethora of household items. Overall, the area is a great spot for one person or a small family.

I would say that within the last few years, the crime rates were not high. As of now, the crime rates are slowly increasing.
