Grove Park, both elegant and historic, is nestled in the mountains of Asheville. This tree-filled neighborhood consists of winding country lanes and impressive architecture -- so much so that the neighborhood hosts an annual home tour. The center of this picturesque neighborhood is the Grove Park Inn, an imposing hotel built in 1913 and considered one of the best hotels in the world. The Grove Park Inn is listed on the National Register of Historic Places and has been visited by 10 US Presidents, including Barack Obama, Bill Clinton, George H.W. Bush, Richard Nixon, Franklin D. Roosevelt, and William Howard Taft.

With its enviable location in the Blue Ridge Mountains, Grove Park provides a scenic landscape ideal for outdoor activities, from hiking and camping to golf -- the Grove Park Country Club is located in the center of the neighborhood. Asheville is just two miles south, making Grove Park an excellent location for commuters looking for a mountain retreat. Grove Park sits directly east of the University of North Carolina at Asheville and is a terrific destination for students, as well.
