A commuter-friendly suburb of Detroit, Grosse Pointe Woods is a quick 12 miles northeast of Downtown Detroit, and just 35 miles from Windsor International Airport. Separated from Lake Saint Clair by Grosse Pointe Shores, this small town is home to excellent public schools and is renowned for its family-friendly atmosphere. Although Grosse Pointe Woods is highly sought-after, this suburb is fairly affordable, offering a range of apartments and houses for rent.
