Goulds is known to be a bad neighborhood with lots of police activity. It has gotten alot better over the last several years due to gentrification. Newer properties and businesses are causing property values and rents to increase pushing out the lower income residents little by little. Still it is not a good neighborhood. I would really like to leave Miami entirely because the crime rate and people are really not favorable.

This place has gotten better ever since many bad neighbors have left. Crime used to be common around here, but has significantly decrease. New, friendly, and respectable neighbors have moved in, making this neighborhood a better place to live in.

It is very close to the Redlands, and very far from most things to do (such as work or just going out to have fun). It's nice if you want to have a nice house with an okay backyard, and away from most of the hustle and bustle of the suburbs, like Kendall.
