Okay so I don't technically live near Geist, but I do live in the metro area and I go to Geist pretty often. The area is SUPER nice and the house is beautiful here. The houses are pretty expensive though. The area is nice. This area would be great if you didn't want to live in a suburb because it would be too far from the city, but still wanted to live outside the city. There are plenty of places like that around the city for a much cheaper price though.
