Fort Stewart is a United States Army Post off Highway 84, primarily inside Liberty and Bryan Counties. Fort Stewart is the largest Army installation east of the Mississippi River, and its Military Reservation covers approximately 280,000 acres of land. Fort Stewart and Hunter Army Airfield are world-class military training facilities, with land and air training exercises performed throughout the year. Fort Stewart is surrounded by numerous dine-in and sit-down restaurants, markets, and shops – and is a short drive to Savannah, Georgia.
