Ruffner Mountain provides additional hiking trails, including one to Hawk’s View Overlook, a picture-perfect spot with terrific views of the city. In addition to having both mountain and lake, Eastlake is close to several golf courses, including Roebuck Golf Course. And for frequent travelers, Birmingham-Shuttlesworth International Airport is only a few minutes from Eastlake.
