When you say East Arlington, nobody ever really know what you're talking about. It's Girvin!! Tons of restaurants, shopping, and relaxation in this area. Just far enough from the city and beach to avoid the peak traffic times, just close enough to them that nothing's ever too far away. Could really do with some nearby nightlife. It's essentially a dead zone besides fast food when it gets late enough.

It is a great place to live for younger families with two nice parks within five miles and many options for elementary and middle schools for parents to choose from.
