Holly Glen - Del Aire is a charming little neighborhood in Los Angeles' South Bay area. Located at the borders of Hawthorne, El Segundo, and of the city of Los Angeles itself, Holly Glen - Del Aire encompasses some of the best traits of these three towns. Like Manhattan Beach, the area is more upscale with beautifully tended single family homes and superior public services. Like El Segundo, the area is more family oriented, with wide sidewalks, good parks, and truly excellent schools. And like Hawthorne, Holly Glen - Del Aire boasts affordable homes that will cost you a fraction of what you would pay for similar dwellings just a block or two to the west.
As of February 2026, the average apartment rent in Del Aire is $2,318 for a studio, $2,777 for one bedroom, $3,472 for two bedrooms, and $4,433 for three bedrooms. Apartment rent in Del Aire has increased by 4.6% in the past year.

The area is quiet and hidden. Neighbors are all extremely friendly. Other than the free right next o the house, I can't complain.

There isn't as many job opportunities in this area. Most people have to go out of town to get employment.
