Situated in northwestern Connecticut along with the Nepaug State Forest and Nassahegon State Forest, Burlington provides a verdant, pristine setting for any renter. Burlington has a predominately rural feel thanks to the state forests and wooded areas that make up most of its landscape. Renters enjoy endless hiking trails and scenic areas to explore, as well as an overall peaceful and quiet atmosphere. The center of town holds a few conveniences like gas stations, small shops, and a few restaurants, but this is far from a buzzing entertainment center. Incredible cabins and cottages surrounded by untouched forests are all around Burlington. Fortunately, Hartford is only 19 miles east should you need the amenities of a bigger city.
