Beechwood is a historic neighborhood two miles from Downtown Rochester. The charming neighborhood features classic architectural elements like gumwood trim and stained-glass windows while offering rentals with renovated modern interiors. This close-knit neighborhood has an active neighborhood association and is filled with non-profits, art organizations, and locally owned shops and restaurants.

Local florists, cafes, and breweries also set up shop on the market grounds. The Hungerford building on East Main Street houses the studios of many Beechwood artists and opens to the general public twice a month while several theaters nearby offer even more entertainment.

I would not choose to live here again. The crime is horrible and the neighbors are loud.
