Located within Downtown Pittsburgh, Allegheny West is Pittsburgh’s smallest neighborhood with a big heart. This historic neighborhood was once home to several leaders and celebrities and is known for its gorgeous Victorian architecture. Although the area is known for its upscale historic homes, Allegheny West has more affordable rental options available in a variety of styles, including high-rise apartments in brick buildings. The neighborhood is nestled between Allegheny Commons Park and Heinz Field, home of the Pittsburgh Steelers and the University of Pittsburgh Panthers.
