About This Home
Enjoy Florida living in a fabulous 2-bedroom/2-bathroom with two additional bonus spaces for offices, entertaining, TV rooms, etc, on a 1-year lease, in beautiful Clearwater, Florida. This spacious home with the original terrazzo floors is in a very peaceful neighborhood. Although the official square footage is almost 1500, there is over 200 square feet of A/Ced space in the back with the same terrazzo flooring and masses of windows! Nearby, you have free access to the Greenbriar Club House with it’s heated pool and many facilities, including a clubhouse for parties, game nights, shuffleboard and for an extra $20/month, a gym. The home had no problems during the recent hurricanes and has been freshly renovated. The home is a combination of vintage 50s charm (like terrazzo flooring) and updated conveniences, like a modern new kitchen! The master suite is large with three closets and a big updated bathroom, including marble countertops. The kind and attentive landlord, who lives close by, will take care of all the yard work and refilling the water softener. The home has masses of storage space throughout the many closets and inside the 2-car garage. There are new window coverings throughout the home. The home is in great condition and ready to move into!! The fenced backyard is waiting for you to add furniture and BBQ-ing equipment to make this your Florida paradise. Located around the intersection of Broadway and Main Street, Downtown Dunedin extends from the marina west for several blocks. Pioneer Park, located off Main Street, provides a shady gathering place for residents and is the location for a variety of festivals and events such as Films in the Park, held in April and October, and the Downtown Market, held from November to June. Other festivals held in Downtown Dunedin include Wine the Blues and Taste of Dunedin.
Dunedin includes two state parks: Honeymoon Island State Park and Caladesi Island State Park. Considered among the country's best beaches, these two islands provide miles of natural shoreline. The white sand beaches and calm ocean waves attract millions of visitors a year. Other great destinations include the 49-mile Fred Marquis Pinellas Trail, which runs perpendicular to Main Street and leads north to Tarpon Springs and south to Saint Petersburg. This paved trail is popular for bicycling, walking, and skating.
