Property Ratings at Point O'Woods Apartments
Worst apartment I ever lived in. Upstairs apartment leaked in to my apartment four times. Carpet was soak and wet they did not clean it. Started growing mold in the hallway and bathroom. Instead of treating it they painted over it. Maintenance never fixed anything but would close out the tickets.
This was the worst move Ive ever made. Maintenance is no help with anything. I went without air the whole summer because of very old units. My fridge also leaked very bad and was never fixed. All the apartments are outdated and need a remodel asap. They are way overpriced for what you get. The whole year I stayed here was just problem after problem. I refused to sign another lease with them and got away as fast as I could. Save your money and go elsewhere.
The experience here was horrible. Maintenance is not great. The refrigerator & washer and dryer sets are old. They also have a roach infestation! They need to renovate their apartments because $610 for a 1 bed , 1 bath is terrible for the make and model of the apartments. Make sure to go in and see the apartments before just paying the fee.
Do not move into these apartments. Maintenance is trash!! They up the rent, but everything is completely out dated & nasty. The ladies at the front are not helpful whatsoever, and they just give you the run around. They do not fix anything ever. Stay away from these apartments. Also maintenance just rigs everything. He never fixes anything properly at all. The wood is old and rotted out under the counters. It’s very out of date. Also there’s never any parking, because they let anyone on the property.
We have currently had to buy out of our lease for personal reasons and it has been the smoothest experience we have ever had. The lady in the office was very informative and helped us in every way she could. We were dreading the process but honestly it could not have went any better down to the lady giving us a detailed list to go by for cleaning up. Most places would just tell you to clean and go on about their day. We hate we are having to leave here. If by chance we get to move back to Hattiesburg, Ms we will be coming to Point O' Woods.
If i could give negative stars i would. After i scrubbed and bleached the entire place upon moving out, i received a letter in the mail charging us nearly $600. which include a $400 painting fee. The apartment complex smelled of marijuana 24/7. Cops are called regularly for people fighting in the parking lot. We could hear nearly everything our neighbors did. None of the drainage worked correctly. These were the worst places I have ever lived in.
My apartment is ok . The people above me are loud !!! They stump and blare their music . I have been telling the people that work here but they will not do anything about it ...
