Our experience overall with each move in has been less than acceptable. Too many things to list. If you are considering living here, please do not assume that the apartment will be to your liking. You'll be tasked with getting the unit up to any normal standards. My guess is since it is mostly students that they can get away with advertising a Mercedes and giving you an old Ford. Renter beware. Good luck.

Very calm most of the time. The environment is good to live in. Picking what area to live in is also important. The pool is almost always open.

I like it here. Very nice staff and good pool. I enjoy how close everything is in proximity to me and the nice central location of cabana. Utilities are nice and cheap too.

It's okay. Quiet for the most part, except for my rude neighbors upstairs. The staff is friendly at the front, if a little clueless at times. Maintenance is amazing because they actually FIX THINGS not just put bandages on them and tell you it's fixed. They'll give you a new appliance if they can't fix it or it's too much trouble to do so. Would be nice if there weren't only two dumpsters and they were way the heck on the other side of the complex.

So far Cabana Beach is good and bad is has its pros and cons very nice design in premium and platinum not so much flooring. I have terrible roommates and the complex has not helped me in being transferred and the pool closes way too early but besides that it’s a nice complex.

Great place to live! The pool is amazing and the gym is open 24 hours! I recommend it to people looking for a great cheaper option! There are also 3 bus stops in the complex!

We’ve enjoyed this year with alot of activities. And most importantly feel safe living here. It’s very convenient to everything we need. I know everyone is busy but maintenance requests were slow is our only complaint.

Great apartment for students! Awesome pool view. Maintenance never came to fix my closet or fan or shower door but they did come to repair the washer. The dishwasher doesn’t drain and no one came to fix it other than maintenance. Overall nice experience.

Not really any major complaints. Having access to a nearby bus stop is convenient in the mornings. Having a gym in the complex is also very convenient.

Fairly quiet, amazing pool and maintenance is usually pretty quick when requested. Be careful to not request maintenance around move in time, it takes longer for them to get to you.

Very good apartment with great amenities and features such as a swimming pool and clubhouse. The bedrooms are spacious and the living rooms are plenty big for small parties.

It's alright, maintenance takes a while to get orders in but apart from that it's a decent community to live in. Fair price, nice pool, and they do events every once in a while.

The best pool in Gainesville and they have an okay gym. Always have treats in leasing office. Happy to live here. There is a lot of squirrels so I’m never alone I love those little furry creatures.

Maintenance requests are slow, don't expect anything to get done for another couple of months. Apartments aren't cleaned on move-in day. Overall the apartment amenities are nice, so nice that other people from other apartments come to use them and disrupt.

The front staff gave a key to my apartment, and to my room, to a random person trying to sublease from my room mate. They were shady characters too, not that it matters. Poorly run and will cause issues when they break your lease, credit home buying in future ect. It's not safe, save yourself the hassle go anywhere else.

The apartment complex is built so bad that I couldn’t even walk around my own apartment with out my neighbors banging on the wall. When I went to talk about it there was nothing they could do about it and told me to deal with it. Well now I’m being evicted because I broke rule four about disturbing my neighbors when they where the ones banging. There was no support and the whole staff is demanded to write good reviews to that’s why it is so high.

Between my roommate and I we have put in about 6 maintenance request for the fridge. We have lost a lot of money in food. Last time cabana said they were going to change the fridge and left us with a broken fridge for 3-4 days. Maintenance then came and “fixed” the fridge again instead of replacing it. Yes. You are going to keep finding problems to fix with the fridge because the entire thing is broken and it’s time to replace!!! I woke up today to my freezer defrosting again. I do not recommend cabana. A lot of money we spent on food is going to waste. Also, the fridge is supposed to keep food at a safe temperature so we don’t get sick. It’s time to replace the fridge!!!

DO NOT SIGN WITH THEM!!! Once you sign their contract, they care about your feeling and experience anymore! Because they provide no termination option! The staff are hypocritical and not helpful at all. The price listed on their website is cheap but there are dozens of hidden fees you would never imagine. Think twice, before you sign with them!!!

cabana beach apts. are so filthy you can't clean it off. Everything is disquesting. You have no say about room mates and they can change your lease around any way they want. Room mates can be thieves (I had money stolen, room mates broke into my locked bedroom), drug abusers, bullies, bring in anyone they want to live with them, and management wont do anything about it. They will not allow you to move to a different apartment. They claim to have security but there is none, and crime is very high. My locked car was broken into. There is no maintenance, and nothing that is broke ever gets fixed. The staff is very rude. Do not live here.

Cabana Beach Apartments provide the privacy/luxury of a 2b/2b while not breaking the bank. Apartment was in pretty good condition, despite a few minor blemishes as typical of any apartment. However, the reason I have given these apartments 3 stars is because although I have only lived in my apartment for a little over a month, my AC has stopped working 6 times. There is no excuse for the AC not being fixed properly by maintenance after this many times. Perhaps management should invest in better maintenance that will give permanent solutions to maintenance issues, or the building itself just isn't of the highest quality. I understand rent is way cheaper compared to other 2b/2b, but that does not excuse a consistent breaking down of the AC, which is included in rent.
