McLean Park, with the eastern edge of the neighborhood extending down to just below the park. Apalachee Ridge sits about two miles southeast of Downtown Tallahassee, just over a mile southeast of Florida A&M University, and about three miles southeast of Florida State University. The neighborhood is near several golf courses, including Jake Gaither Golf Course, Capital City Country Club, and Hilaman Golf Course.
