Aside from the Blackstone District's great food and beer, this neighborhood is highly walkable and filled with historic and trendy warehouses converted into lofts. Dating back to around 1880, the Blackstone District has always been an Omaha favorite, even earning the nickname "Gold coast" in the 1920s.
