I recently moved into my new apartment, and I couldn’t be happier! The apartment itself is incredibly spacious, giving me all the room I need to feel comfortable. The staff has been absolutely amazing from day one, making me feel welcome and supported throughout the entire process. The move-in was incredibly smooth and easy, which took a lot of stress off my shoulders. Overall, I’m so happy with my decision to live here and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great place to call home!

Property is kept clean and constant upgrades are happening. In the two months I’ve lived here so far it has been a quiet property. The pool is amazing and well cared for. Leasing staff and maintenance are very easy to talk to and respectful.

The good: the staff is very nice, maitainence is handled quick, location is good. The bad: there are some people who live here that make it not so great to live here. Parking wherever including places that block traffic and sometimes cars in spaces and nothing done so they do it all the time, people who walk dogs off leash AND don't pick up, people who act like they are unaware they share walls and make lots of noise, don't know how to put trash in the Dumpster and just toss in front until its just a big pile, people not using recycle correct so now its hard to recycle with the way the bin is, people who bring big speakers to the pool and play so loud can be heard far from the pool. I know the staff cannot know what a person is like when renting but there are things that can be done to ease some of the bad.

This is an old place that was remodeled so looks good, some remodeled interiors are nice, pool is ok, gym is tiNY, price per space is above average- yet all the problems with crumbly walls, sewage water coming up from your toilet/tub flooding your entire place with brown water, and afterhours electrical outage in your unit in the middle of the holidays are all still your problem... AND budget - you get charged for damages even when YOU reaching out to the office and explain what happened because of the electrical outage. Escalated it to the manager, follow up on the situation, again by phone, follow up walk-in, follow up again...weeks of this Covid office walk-ins closed= surprise bill on your rent portal!! Negligence at it's max - they "nicely" treat you like an idiot. Not one, they all do. Communication is not clear on their end-then it's your credit, your problem. Oh and when you move out, forget about your deposit ;) no matter how clean or what state you think you left it in. As a matter in fact, you owe them a goood bit besides the deposit. Good luck!
I have been living here for almost 2 years and I like it. The ladies in the office is always nice, and maintenance always fix any problems I have. One day my ac was not working in the middle of the night and i called them because i could not sleep, it was too hot and they came to fix it. The apartments look nice inside and outside.
From the start, the girls working in the office were so friendly and helpful. We fell in love with all they have to offer on property and it's now been a few months of living here! We couldn't be happier that we found this place. Everyone goes above and beyond to help. We have so much more space and storage than we've had in any other apartment we've lived in. We'll definitely be staying here for a while.
I loved this apartment so much! The pool is probably the best part with the hammocks. I also loved that I had so much storage space inside my apartment. Glad I didn't have to rent a storage unit. I wish I didn't have to move! :(
The community is excellent. The leasing staff are super friendly and always willing to help. Definitely recommend living here.
I am so glad I found this place! It is a Gem! Megan and Claudia have been so pleasant to work with in helping me find my perfect new home! I am so happy living here! They have fun events and contests every month and their outdoor workout area is one of a kind! The location is so convenient right next to 408 and a hop skip and away to the airport! For the space you get, the beautiful landscaping, and the amazing office staff, you cant get a better deal in this area. You wont regret it!
Having moved around alot I've had my fair share of great apartments and terrible. This place is amazing! Staff was welcoming from the moment I walked in the door. Being still a tad timid Megan up front made me feel comfortable while on a tour of the property. Other residents i walked by seemed very pleasant. I've been here 6 months and havent regretted one bit signing the lease! Anyone looking for a spot that's warm and welcoming come to this community.
Luxury apartments? More like, "Harper 'not so' Grand.” Although after meeting in the business office you might assume so as it is immaculate, far from the reality of these apartments (False advertising on website.) I'm not writing this review over the fact it took 5 months to have the promised "gym" finally up and working. Not about the mailbox problem. Nor about how noisy it gets outside on a daily basis where you can hear EVERYTHING. Not even the cockroaches. However, I am writing this review to expose who Harper Grand really is at its integral core. They don't care at all about their residents, they just want to lock you down for a lease and do the the minimal. February 5th Harper slapped a green sticker on the window of my Toyota. All over an "expired car registration" which according to the sticker ran out that month. For starters it was never expired, it's South Carolina plate tag ®istration, I cant just snap my fingers and the current magically appears, it takes time as it doesn't get mailed to my new home. Me being a full time student i can't just stop what im doing and contact the front desk right away, as they're claiming I should have. I said "ill deal with it tomorrow," Little did i know the FOLLOWING DAY my car is missing from under my feet. I called the police who said it was towed to some 3rd party towing company. I ask Harper Grand, "nothing they can do." They didnt call me as a resident and say "hey your car is gonna get towed if," nor did anyone look the plate up to confirm "the registration isnt expired, its just missing the sticker.” -which is required by law, one has 30 days. Absolutely no effort on their end, so then the tow company demands "money or else." So i go there, handle it and take my car back. 2 months later pass and THEY TOW IT AGAIN. Talk about thievery at its finest. Harper "theres nothing we can do" Grand, who is honestly to blame for this predicament in the first place, failing to recognize “hey, it's our residents' vehicle." This is how Harper Grand treats and looks after their residents. I would strongly discourage anyone from staying here. The neighborhood used to be a notorious area & old run-down buildings. Ask the locals. They took my security deposit and demanded more money on top of that. It's rather funny all of the neighbors had unique stories of their own. Do yourself a favor and do not associate with these sheisty, gruesome people who could care less about your well being and living experience.
First off, the staff is super amazing. They’re always engaged and able to assist you by any means necessary. The complex is in awesome shape with its modern, up to date renovations. The Management there really works hard and outstanding their efforts to keep the community aware of what’s going on and the complexes in top notch shape. I really enjoy the calendar of events they put together that allows us to meet our fellow neighbors. The community is safe and very peaceful. And I thank them for going above and beyond.
Front office staff very rude, I? put in a work order 4 months ago about my W/D and half the lights in my apartment don’t work! They do not care. In contact with their corporate office as we speak in terms of my lease!!! Do not waste your time
These people are the most greedy apartment managers ever. They'll charge you for anything. If you come home late don't expect to find an open spot. They're forcing everyone to either pay for an assigned spot or get towed. And if something breaks in your apartment don't expect for it to fixed anytime soon. They'll get around to it after they lose the work order 2-3 times. There's dog poop everywhere, and children running around like it's a schoolyard. I would never recommend this place to anyone. Waste of money to live here
Everything you pay for is terrible quality or bad job. "Remodeled" is just for first day you move in, then every day something is breaking apart. Is not worth it to waste more words for how bad this place is. My biggest mistake of my life to move here!!
Management and staff are a complete JOKE. -bad (or sometimes no) communication between ALL staff members -work orders get lost because staff members write them on sticky notes -online payment system is tricky. You will receive eviction letters if there is a balance of $1.00 -security is basically people who hang out after hours and sit on the hoods of the patrol car -pros would be large closet space, new appliances, and new carpet This was my first apartment so I did not take the time to look at other options because the 'price was right'. Prices now are ridiculous for the location of this place. If you can afford the current rent, you can live in a better area with better amenities and less headaches. KEEP LOOKING !!!!!
I moved here from Indiana sight unseen and was a little skeptical when I first got here but let me tell you, it is great!! The staff is amazing. The apartments are amazing. It was built in 1981 so the renovation is taking a little time and a little work but they are doing an excellent job. The maintenance staff is wonderful and answer calls almost immediately. The office team is the best! They are friendly, helpful, and do their best to make you feel right at home. I love my apartment!!
This place is an absolute nightmare. The manager is unpleasant. Just rude. This is not the place I thought it was in the beginning. They make it look nice in the outside but once you actually start living there you see try colors. Everything in the apartment is cheap. I had to get door handle changed 3 times. The appliances are eye appealing but in all reality are just cheap. Also have a paper on my door for minute things that ultimately threatens me that I'm going to get evicted. Please think twice. I can't wait to move.
My family and I love it here. We moved from an apartment complex that was less than ideal but we have had such a great experience thus far with this community and the management staff. I love that they are working on beautifying the complex, we all want to live in a nice area. I love that I know without a doubt that my service calls will be met without a hiccup and I love that I can go to the office with a problem and know that they will do their best to accommodate me. I highly recommend these apartments and would write a longer, more detailed review if there was no character restriction!
i arrived at this apartment and did not think i would like it and after looking at the apartment the pool , everything i was in love and would be moving in soon !
We just moved into our apartment. The Harper Grand Apartments are absolutely beautiful. The office staff is amazing. They are still renovating but you can tell that when they finish they will make u feel like you are in paradise. The pool area is breathing taking. If u want a fabulous place to come home to stop by and see Erica she can help you with all your needs.
When you first arrive into complex, your mind says oh no, turn around. Once you see apartment, wood floors, stainless appliances, granite countertops, resort style pool , gym and friendly staff! Simply amazing for right price. Never judge!
