Property Ratings at Mira Crystal Lake
Very quiet and picturesque. However Apts are average and the inside stairwells are filthy dirty. Bicycles that are old and rusted sit outside making the community look dirty and unkept. Management/maintenance are only concerned with getting the apts rented. Once in you have to constantly stay on top of them for things that should be very apparent to them if they toured the complex occasionally.
Living at Mira has honestly been one of the best decisions I’ve made. The property sits right on a beautiful lake, and there’s a two-mile walking track that loops around it with some of the most peaceful views you’ll find. It’s the kind of place where you actually want to slow down and just breathe. My husband calls it “the resort” I swear to you those pictures I linked are just from my phone, no editing or anything. It’s so beautiful ! The staff here are incredible—seriously. Shana, who runs the place, sets the tone. She’s extremely communicative, always follows through, and clearly leads by example. Anytime I’ve needed something, it’s been handled quickly and kindly. Everyone I’ve interacted with, from the office to maintenance, has been warm and friendly. There’s a clubhouse with a lot of events and things to do if you’re into that, but at night, it’s calm, quiet, and it just feels safe. It’s such a good balance between community and privacy. If you have kids, there’s an awesome playground here as well as a dog park. My Littles love the pool and maintenance always keep it clean so you never have to worry about that. There’s bathrooms by the pool there’s like a little barbecue thingy and there’s also one of those outdoor showers to rinse off you know before you go. If you’re thinking about moving here—don’t wait. If you can get in, get in. We got our unit before we even came to the state because we were worried that we weren’t gonna be able to get it in time and we were lucky enough to get in so seriously if you can get in do it as quick as you can.

This complex has been incredibly frustrating to deal with. The management is unprofessional and poorly communicates with residents and staff. Maintenance is slow—our dryer took over a month to fix, and the team didn’t even want to finish the job. The property manager is rarely available, and even her own team complains about her leadership. Overall, this place needs better management and more reliable service. I wouldn’t recommend it.

Personable staff that is always available should the need arise. Great over all place for couples, student, professionals, families, and more. Very welcoming community with tons of amenities. Has a very new and fresh feel to the place with great views around the lake and a wonderful location nested near all your shopping needs.

I was in a bind but refused to settle. When I found Eden Crystal Lake Apartments, I wasn’t expecting much due to the consistent let-downs with most places in the Volusia area. This place has everything that I needed and more. I’ve been happy since I arrived and Anari helped me with all of my needs, questions, concerns, and THEN some. The apartments are stunning, the people are nice, the staff is accommodating, and I couldn’t be happier to call Eden my home!

The property and amenities are nice, but being a new construction there are some issues they need to sort out. The Pros: - Nice new facilities, units, and landscaping - Convenient to schools, shopping, and local attractions - Quiet and safe neighborhood The Cons: - The pet waste stations have not been installed yet and management has asked residents to enforce the policy by taking pictures of residents failing to pick up after their pet. This is not good for building a community and is not welcoming. - The 3 bedroom units have side by side refrigerators that are defective and management keeps promising a warranty repair. I understand that the appliances have warranties but 72 days with a refrigerator that keeps going from 28 degrees to 55 degrees is not safe. - Building and way finder signs are missing and delivery drivers and guests have a hard time finding the correct apartments. - The management staff has overturned 2x in 60 days and the failure to resolve issues shows the lack of management and decision making the staff have. Final Comments: - Just be aware that new doesn't mean better.
