As its name suggests, West University is located directly west of the University of Oregon. Some parts of the neighborhood stretch into Downtown Eugene, giving residents easy access to the excitement of the city. Naturally, the area has a strong college-town feel and is pedestrian-friendly, so you’ll see residents walking or bicycling through the streets. Catering to the college crowd, West University is filled with trendy restaurants, casual eateries, cozy coffeehouses and tea shops, vintage stores, and grocers. When residents aren’t enjoying West University’s abundance of amenities, you’ll find them canoeing or dog walking at Alton Baker Park a mile north of the neighborhood. The Autzen Stadium, home of the University of Oregon Ducks, is located north of the park as well. West University has a variety of rental options available including student apartments, luxury condos, newly build high-rises, and large single-family houses.

Property Ratings at The Patterson Social
Where to begin with the Patterson Social... Ridiculously overpriced apartments for what you get. The Patterson Social lacks many of the amenities that come standard with other student apartments in Eugene: no TV, no garbage disposal, etc. The apartment is located directly behind a few of the loudest houses in Eugene so good luck getting any sleep on the weekends. The package delivery system is terrible. They will leave packages right in front of your door up for grabs in comparison to my prior apartment in Eugene which secured packages at the front desk and asked for photo ID to retrieve them. I had a pair of shoes stolen from my front door that the apartment claimed no responsibility for. On top of all this, I graduated in 2020 (COVID year) and they had the audacity to charge a $151 dollar "wear and tear" fee when I paid 4 full months of rent and did not occupy the apartment. Amenities including the gym and study room were closed completely due to covid and no discount of any kind was offered for this. All I can say is do not live here. Awful management and awful apartment

Only had a chance to call in and look at the website, my experience with the staff was great! Jarred was helpful and able to answer all my questions. The apartments look great and comes furnished, there are a lot of food places within walking distance.
When I first toured the Patterson Social, all i could think was wow. The place is so nice and they have 2 gyms!! i can't wait to move in! thanks to maddie for the help! you and your building are bomb.com

Love these apartments and all the new stuff they are doing to make it look amazing! The Lobby is by far my favoirte feature aside from the apartment itself. Jared did a greag job showing us around and answering our questions!

Came to take a look at the apartments today. I have to say the service is like nothing Ive seen before in Eugene.. Blown away by the hospitality, and professionalism that came from such a young group of people. Not to mention the apartments were amazing. I was able to speak with Autum she was so nice, and very knowledgeable. Highly recommend to anyone in the Eugene area looking for a great deal.

Best place near campus! Maddy helped answer all my questions and was really knowledgable about the property and the process of leasing! They just renovated the place and now have 2 gyms!

I just had a tour at The Patterson and it went really well. The person who gave the tour was really friendly and knowledgeable. All of my questions were answered and the apartment itself was really nice. I love the granite counter tops and the amount of space in the Broadway floorplan!
