The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Property Ratings at Cross Creek at Murfreesboro
There are many apartment complexes in Murfreesboro, but Haylee helped my husband and I choose Cross Creek Apartments. Their professionalism, enthusiasm, patience, and hospitality mean more to us than we can say. We also LOVE the amenities here. Cross Creek is truly the gold standard!!
Very helpful staff. Answered all my questions. Hailey was very knowledgeable
The rent is ridiculously high for an complex that doesn't even have updated appliances. The new management is horrible. They care more about how the property looks than you. The gates has been broken since last year & they also charging you for an alarm system that doesn't even work. The water is charged accordingly to the building instead of you by yourself. You're getting charged $60 for trash removal and it's not even valet trash removal. The walls are thinner than a stop sign. it's best to look past these apartments and keep looking.
Please not the application process is terrible. Office staff is rude. The place is not luxury for the amount of things they put you through to do an application. Madison was very nice. But I would not recommend at all very bad application experience and I lost $499 simply because they were over verifying my information and being rude about it. Do not go here !
What this property advertises and what you actually get are different. Their idea of luxury is old, used, and dirty fixtures, cabinets/drawers, and water damage/mold.
We went by to check out the apartments as we are looking to move to a better school district. Appearances were initially good and the grounds are well kept. But the staff was not very friendly or helpful. The staff person showed us a model apartment and there were dead bugs on the floor. Not really a good way to do business. But I think what really discouraged us from pursuing this was the fact that very little information was actually offered. They handed us a brochure and a "here's the price". There was very little pride in the job or the complex. We did ask some questions, and was discouraged to find out that they bill you your water on top of the rent, and it's not based on your water usage. It's based on the number of people in your apartment. So if you have 5 people (3 kids) in your home, you will be billed "about" $20 per person, or $100. This didn't set well with me, as you are not actually paying for your own water usage, but others as well. With the cost of rent being so exorbitant in Murfreesboro, I don't want to pay for other's utilities as well as my own rent. I think I'll keep looking.
I repeat please do not rent from here. I've lived here in Blackman my whole life and is an outstanding community but I wouldn't recommend this complex to anyone. If you want things stolen from your apartment and harrassment on a daily basis fr no reason, drug deals and a suspected meth lab that's under investigation please go ahead and take a chance. The management is the rudest including the assistant I've ever came across..Gail being TV ge worst. I run a huge company and I wouldn't hire her to take out the trash. My family and I started getting sick after numerous complaints of of a very strong volatile chemical smell that was ignored every time we returned from travel as we only lived here 2 weeks out of mth and every time we returned it was followed by vomiting and naseousnous. They will steal from you. Take my advice and steer clear. If you have to pay a few hundred more it's worth it for you or your families security from all thr problems associated from this place.
You will see mice, bugs, and termites everywhere. Very very disgusting place.
This is the worst place I have ever lived. The day my family moved in the carpets smelled like dog urine. They kept saying that they would schedule someone to clean them but they would never show up. It took a month and a call to their corporate office to finally get them to replace the carpet. Now currently we have a termite infestation. We woke up one morning with termites covering the walls, the carpet, beds even found them on my 8 month old child. it was the most disgusting thing ever. They told us to just spray windex on them. we were unable to live in the apartment and the complex did not offer anything to make the situation better. In fact they threatened me with legal action if I posted this review. on top of this problem the cabinets in the apartment never stay closed, we are constantly battling leaks coming from upstairs and our cars have been broken into twice. The management does not care about anyone that lives there and you will have a constant battle trying to get maintenance to take care of anything. DO NOT LIVE HERE!
I wish I could give ZERO star. There are *hundreds* of termites all over the apartment. The community manager Gail is very rude and disrespectful. It is not worse to pay over $1000 to live there with ton of termites.
Our apartment has all the comforts of home without the maintenance. When we walk through our door our generous foyer beckons us to come in! We have a cozy fireplace for those colder evenings as well as a patio for the warmer weather; where we can start the day with a cup of coffee or tea, and listen to the birds "serenade" us. We have great storage with very generous walk-in closets...we are not cramped! Last but not least, we are in a great neighborhood here at Cross Creek Apartments, residential and quiet. We are happy to be apartment dwellers here.
I have enjoyed the benefits of residing here for the last 3 years. The 24 hour access to the gym along with the huge lighted pool at night. The bay at the back of the complex to wash cars, boats, etc is great. The tennis court is placed appropriately close. The added gated community is a plus for security with an on duty officer on the premises. The rental price is affordable and the location is within walking distance of Blackman Elementary, Jr. High, and High School. Less than 5 minutes from interstate but with scenery. Love the staff, if problems arise; they are super at fixing requests. Spacious and beautiful community of Cross Creek at Victory Station!!
Large closets (which I need for my shoes!) The office staff is great about relaying information back and forth between maintenance and residents. The maintenance man with the beard is hilarious! He jokes with you and loves my dog (my baby)! The pool is always kept up in the summer and is busy during the weekends because of everyone off work, which makes for a good time because you can socialize! The only problem I have ever had was the time my smoke detector started beeping at 3am on a Saturday night because it had a low battery. I called the office the next day and emergency maintenance came out to fix it for me. I love it here! Even the courtesy office is nice!
