Anoka is a city along the eastern banks of the Mississippi River roughly 30 minutes north of Minneapolis. Anoka is known for all things spooky, as it’s coined the “Halloween Capital of the World.” The city held one the of the first Halloween parades in the country, and it continues to pay homage to the holiday with several parades happening through the month of October.
