Property Ratings at LightHorse 4041
We lived at LightHorse for 2.5 years and had a truly memorable experience. The building is located in a peaceful and vibrant neighborhood, with easy access to everything Shorewood has to offer: Walgreens, UPS, USPS, Metromarket, and the Green Line bus plus 10 min walk to lake. The management team is friendly, responsible, and always willing to help, making it a comfortable and secure place to call home. The apartment itself was clean, well-maintained, and offered beautiful views, especially from the west-facing balcony, where sunsets were absolutely stunning. The landscaping and design of the building add a calm, welcoming atmosphere. We also had great neighbors, which made our time there even more enjoyable. LightHorse became a meaningful part of our lives and felt like home from the very beginning. While the rent is a bit on the higher side and a few charges could have been communicated more clearly, especially about the annual rent increase and some hidden charges, it felt fair overall given the quality of the living experience. Overall, we are grateful for our time at LightHorse and would recommend it to anyone looking for a high-quality place to live in Shorewood.

LH 4041 is a perfect place to stay. No matter if you stay alone, as couple, or as family. The residents are friendly and social. The service is great, even better than in a luxury hotel. If there is something to fix, the maintenance staff fix it for you. They even helped me out to repair my bike.
Lighthorse is a very nice, new complex. It is conveniently located above a Walgreen's, next to a Sendik's and just a short walk to Pic n' Save. It is a little pricier than others, but the convenience factor must be considered.
Great location close to shopping, restaurants, and nightlife. Well-designed building with thoughtful apartment layouts and very nice appointments. Rents are competitive, if somewhat on the high side.
