Property Ratings at Lexington Crossing
Lexington is one of the most affordable apartments to live at being a student at UF. the staff are very energetic and always throwing events to make residents feel welcome and have been very receptive and patient with requests. The only issue would be getting maintenance to resolve an issue properly or pest control to spray the unit fully.
There were some bumps along the way with room assignment and cleaning issues but the staff here worked with me very well so that I could have the best experience I could here.
Awesome! Really loved the renovations in the apartment! It was fast and well done and made the room a lot nicer too! The staff and management as well as maintenance are also friendly and on point.
Staying at Lexington has been an amazing experience for me. The price for rent combined with the distance to campus has made it easy for me to have affordable stay while also maintaining easy transportation.
The price hikes didn’t aid in me not renewing but it definitely didn’t help it. My few encounters with new management haven’t all been positive & they aren’t always nice.
Toilet and sink broken the day I moved in. The exterior such as the stairs and right outside the door were litter with dead insects and dirt.
Amenities are well prepared and includes two gyms, two pools and two study lounges or general areas for whatever needed. The apartment buildings can be cleaned (trash, broken windows, etc.) and maintained better for appearance and quality, but it suffices.
So far it’s been ok. We have a few problems moving in but the administration resolve them. And I am having a good experience. The administration stuff is friendly and they are helping with a better attitude.
It's a big complex and great condition clean and fun atmosphere... Fun places to live nice people all around great 2 pools 2 clubhouse 2 of everything
I really enjoy living here. The staff is very helpful with all the requests I have. Also the amenities are great. Any major issues we’ve had with the unit have been quickly addressed. Overall, a nice place to live if you’re a student!
It’s a great community in a great area with great amenities. Front office staff is quick, reliable and trustworthy. I would highly recommend this community.
The apartments themselves are pretty average, I noticed some mold on the windows and the previous tenants things not having been cleaned out yet, but the ameneties are pretty good. Especially the car wash and pool.
The apartment complex is quiet and has nice amenities, like the pools and gyms. The social events are fun. However, the wifi can sometimes be unstable.
Great community and very peaceful. It feels very safe and even better that it is close by all the stores and stuff in town. Within walking distance of most places.
Great prices ! Would recommend to first time students looking to live off campus. Maintenance usually responds within time frame. Office staff friendly
Honestly the maintenance could be more timely, and since the second phase is older, a lot more seems to break. The equipment and resources are exceptional, and they have really stepped up the sense of community. Overall, for the price the apartments are well off and I would recommend living with more familiar people.

Great Place to live. The office staff are very nice and very friendly. Would definitely recommend. From day one, the front office staff helped me with my sub lease and everything went smoothly and easily.

Overall, the staff has been lovely and the apartment is very nice for the price! There are a couple of problems I had coming into the apartment, however. For example, the plumbing to my shower was leaking into the downstairs neighbors and the bottom drawer to my dresser was broken. Other than that, I have nothing but nice things to say!

Living is nice for the most part. The garbage system is not the best and is a pretty far walk considering how often I have to do it. The maintenance team has come a long way I will say that. I love the apartment other than the trash policies in place. Very nice layouts!

I’ve been living at Lexington Crossing for a while now, and overall, it’s been a great experience. The location is super convenient — just a quick bus ride to UF, with the bus stop right outside the complex. That’s been a lifesaver during busy semesters. There are tons of amenities here — two pools, a decent gym, a clubhouse, and even study spaces that are actually quiet enough to get work done. They also host occasional community events that are a nice touch if you’re looking to meet people. Management has improved over time, and they’ve been pretty responsive whenever I had a concern. Rent is reasonable compared to other places in Gainesville with similar amenities. All in all, Lexington Crossing is a solid choice for students looking for a comfortable, convenient, and social place to stay. I’d definitely recommend it.

I been staying out here for about four months and I don’t really have no complaints!! If you need something fixed in your room or any other areas that are very quick on like next day type of quick ! Everyone is very lovely and nice ! I do recommend to stay out here

my experience here living at Lexington Crossing for almost a year has been wonderful. Staff is awesome. The amenities are awesome and the neighborhood is well kept. my only issue is I have had many issues with the mailing services here but the front office team was always happy to help.

The initial layout of the apartments is nice. Additionally, the staff friendly and supportive. The maintenance team is efficient, most of the times. It may just be in my parcel, but there is often sketchy behavior that happens during the night. When coming back to my apartment from school, it smells like weed every couple of days which is quite annoying.

It’s been an amazing experience here at Lexington crossing but I am moving out at the end of July but every moment that I’ve been here has been really enjoyable!
I was transferring from another apartment complex under the same company at the time (now Lexington is under a new company) and they made the process super smooth. I was transferred to Lexington the same day as my move-in day at my other apartment (I moved out cause it was so disgusting when I walked in). They gave me an amazing new apartment that was well cleaned and maintained. Whenever I have an issue, the front desk is quick to respond, fix, and answer anything going on. I’ve been here for almost 2 semesters now and I don’t really have anything to complain about. I love it here.

It’s great and quiet and maintenance comes very quickly. Lots of free parking and good amenities like pool basketball court volleyball court etc..

Quiet place to live off campus, but just a bus ride to UF and all the activities. New management has been really good and trying to improve tenant living and quality of life!!

The company who owned Lexington crossing prior to this new management’s not run it well. I like the changes that have been implemented because it engages residents to meet each other and form friendships. One of the reasons why I’ve been excited to move into an apartment was so I can meet new people. It was hard to do that if the complex was not hosting events or inviting people to meet each other. But I enjoy the food trucks, parties, and socials that have been going on since the beginning of the year. Great work!

Have had some hiccups with consolidation, but eventually everything was sorted appropriately. Area is nice, there have been some improvements to amenities. Area feels safe

Great community and staff. Extremely helpful when needed, however they aren’t consistent in knowledge sometimes. I would still recommend this neighborhood to any student looking.

This complex is terrible. I’ve never lived in a complex where the community constantly enters your apartment as much as this one does. A team always enters your room and they are extremely rude and sometimes don’t even knock before opening your apartment door. The front desk staff is rude and will tell you wrong information just to get you to sign with them. It is currently under new management so hopefully it is better now, but I’ve lived here for 3 years and I have not enjoyed the majority of my time.
I’ve lived at Lexington Crossing for the past four years and there is no better residence in the Gainesville community at a reasonable price

Friendly staff, quick maintenance response times, not too far from campus, bus stops in front of the community, my only problem is having to drive to the dumpster to throw away my trash instead of being able to throw it out in the trash cans in front of each building

Love it! Would recommend to other friends. I had hardwood and I appreciated that aspect. Lexington has other options of carpet and hardwood. I also appreciated how fast maintenance would come.

The tennis courts are great! The gym and pool are so fun to go to after class, and the cats around the complex are so friendly! I would like the lights at the courts to be on once it gets dark as it really limits me and my friends outdoors time

Nice place to live in, very quiet, only problem is the trash, compactor goes out quite often and gets overflowed with trash for days, other than that I really enjoy it.
